Forage & Ferment is a boutique fermentary in Clevedon, NZ. We harness the magic of naturally hardworking microbes to create real food that is bursting with local flavour and goodness.

We select the freshest vegetables we can get our hands on - sourcing as much directly from responsible local growers. And we forage wild edibles and healing herbs from our home garden farmacy. We use every edible part of the ingredients we can; distributing what we don’t use around our community, feeding local chooks, pigs, worm farms and compost bins.

We are proud supporters of the
New Zealand Bumblebee Conservation Trust (NZBCT). Bumblebees are super pollinators and essential for food production and a healthy environment. As our constant companions, always buzzing around us as we forage in our garden, we consider them part of our team!
